I have known Phil since high school…so it’s been a long time. We kind of lost touch over the past couple years, but thanks to the wonderful world of Facebook, it’s a lot easier to keep in touch than it was before. Well, I noticed awhile ago that he certainly had a lot of pictures with an extremely happy looking girl. So when his status changed to engaged, I wasn’t too surprised.
But the story behind it all…it’s pretty amazing. I love hearing about chance meetings and finding someone that you didn’t even know you were looking for. And these two are so ridiculously right for each other. My first time meeting Lindsay was when I sat down with them to see if they wanted to hire me as their wedding photographer (thankfully that was a yes!) and the way she smiles around him is just incredible. And the story of how he proposed? Oh, I melted…
I will be putting together a custom website for these two, interlacing the images from their engagement session with the amazing story that Phil wrote about the day he proposed…I can’t wait! But for now, here are the images from our incredibly fun shoot in San Francisco last weekend. Talk about not feeling like work; it was just like hanging out with friends all day![]()
And speaking of having fun…I also had the awesome Jedd Goble of inFocus Films filming me throughout the day for my in-the-works promo video! I am so excited to get it finished and put it up on my new website. Phil and Lindsay were awesome enough to let me indulge myself in some shameless self promotion, and I’m really excited that this awesome shoot will be what the video is based on. Thanks guys!
